SCA Convention 2010: "The
Year of the Newcomer"
The SCA Convention in Los Angeles is scheduled
for Saturday, February 13 at Plummer Park in West Hollywood, 7377 Santa
Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA 90046 starting with a kick-off
speaker meeting at 9 a.m.
We are planning a one-day in town retreat entitled "2010: The Year of the
Newcomer." We will have a series of workshops focusing on different tools
to help maintain sobriety with an emphasis on working with newcomers as a
way to stay sober.
In addition to the workshops, there will be a catered banquet with
entertainment.
The registration cost is worth it for the food alone! Lunch will be
generously
provided by the Los Angeles Intergroup. So, please join us for a day of
recovery,
fun, food and fellowship!
$20 early registration
$25 day of event
$10 banquet only (for friends and guests)
