Wednesday Night Meeting for Newcomers to SCA

The SCA-beginner's meeting is held on Wednesday nights from 7:00 pm to 8:15 pm, in Suite 208 at Stepping Stone, 3969 Fourth Ave in Hillcrest. The Suite is located on the 2^nd floor at the back of the building. There is underground parking available.

If you have not yet attended an SCA meeting, our Wednesday night newcomers meeting is a great place to start. This meeting focuses on sharing with newcomers about how the SCA program and the 12 steps have changed the lives of SCA members.

The meeting opens with a "Long Share" during which an SCA member describes what it was like before recovery, what happened that brought them to recovery, and what a life of recovery means now.

Fellowship is generally held nearby immediately following the meeting. This provides newcomers with an opportunity to speak one-on-one with other SCA members.

Newcomers are welcome to attend any other SCA meeting listed on the schedule.
