Using PayPal to Donate to SCA

In accordance with our Sixth Tradition, SCA does not endorse or lend its name to PayPal.com or to any credit card company; we are using their services as a way to transfer money. 

In order to make a donation using your credit card, you click on the Donate image:
                                   
This sends you to PayPal's secure web page - the top of the page will look like the one below:

If you have not registered with PayPal before, you will have the opportunity to register by filling out the form that is given to you below the image.  If you are already registered with PayPal, you will be able to login with your email address and your password.  In both cases, you will need to put in the amount of your donation into the  "Per Item Cost" field (ignore the text "Quantity" and "1").   At the bottom of the screen, click on the Continue button.

On the next page, you have the opportunity to provide a shipping address.  Although this does not make sense for a donation, PayPal does not currently have the means of determining whether this is a donation or a purchase transaction.  You can just leave that information blank. 

The bottom of the screen gives you a confirmation.  Click on the Pay button to actually complete the transaction.

PayPal will automatically direct you back to the SCA website.  PayPal will also send  your name, address and amount of your donation to our SCA Treasurer.
